Born and raised in Catania (Sicily), Antonio Alessandria opened in 2005 his niche perfume shop Boudoir 36 in Catalia.
He started selling perfume brands like Nobile 1942, Editions de Parfums, Diptique, Frapin and more.
The passion of perfume drove him to start creating his own perfume line. In 2008 he began to work on his first formula, without considering budget constraints on the cost of raw materials, choosing them only for their power of expression.
The idea of the first composition comes from a legend according to which, during the period of tuberose bloom, young women were locked up at home to avoid seduction from men, excited by the sensual smell of this heady flower.
From this moment on, the imagination and creativity of Antonio were set in motion and gave birth to the idea of a story divided into three scents, olfactory tones of a poem dedicated to the moon.
“The moon is mysterious and sensual at the same time and perfume for me has to be like this.” – Antonio –
According to Antonio, perfume is a passion that speaks of mystery, sensuality and seduction; he felt the moon was a natural expression of his idea of perfumery. The mystery of darkness into her hidden face, her white light that lights up the night
and offers a new look to any shape, the symbolism that accompanies the moon in all cultures and religions, her changeable and ambiguous appearance are the elements that have influenced Antonio and his inspiration.
All the fragrances are characterized by strong contrasts, opulent structures and leather notes.
