The name “Levante” is derived from the old Italian word “levant” and means “to stand up” – and specifically the rising of the sun in the East. In addition, Levant was used as a historical term; a piece of land in the eastern Mediterranean described. A piece of land that covers everything from Greece to Lebanon and Syria. De naam “Levante” is afgeleid van het oud Italiaanse woord “levant” en betekent “opkomen” – en dan specifiek het opkomen van de zon in het Oosten. Daarnaast werd Levant gebruikt als historische term waarmee een stuk land in de oostelijke Middelandse Zee werd beschreven. Een stuk land dat alles van Griekenland tot Libanon en Syrië bestrijkt. De geur is net zo helder en sprankelend als zijn inspiratie. De zoute bries van de zee die langs de witte bloemen muren waait.
