Amouroud is a sophisticated perfume house that vemerges from the rich legacy of Perfumer’s Workshop, a pioneer in modern perfumery since 1970. The brand originated from the vision of founder Donald Bauchner, who discovered his fascination for the precious ingredient Oud in London. While Oud was exclusively found in the Middle East at the time, Bauchner recognized its beauty and potential for the Western market. His conviction ultimately led to the birth of Amouroud (Amour Oud = the love for Oud).
In 2013, he launched the first collection: ten perfumes that center on the depth, richness, and mystique of Oud. The fragrances are known for their layering and contrasts, with compositions that play between light and dark, warmth and freshness, elegance and seduction. Amouroud tells olfactory stories that evoke emotions and leave a lasting impression.
